Four young men of Serbian nationality arrested in North Mitrovica

Four young men of Serbian nationality were arrested around midnight in North Mitrovica, Petrit Fejza, head of police operations for the North region, confirmed to Kosovo Online, stating that they were still in custody and being charged with assaulting an official.

As Fejza stated for Kosovo Online, the four adults insulted and then attacked two police officers on the promenade in North Mitrovica.

Fejza added that one of the officers had sustained injuries and that the arrested individuals had been sent for medical examination.

"They were tested for alcohol, and it turned out that three of them were under the influence of alcohol. By order of the state prosecutor, they have been placed in detention," Fejza said.

A reporter from Kosovo Online reported that the individuals in question are R.N. (2004), L.K. (2005), V.J. (2003), and M.M. (2005).
