Serb arrested in North Mitrovica for protests in Zvecan last year

A person of Serbian nationality was arrested in the morning hours in North Mitrovica.

As Kosovo Online Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the North Region Veton Elshani told Kosovo Online, the police from the North Region assisted the investigation unit based on a request from Pristina.

"One person was arrested today and he was taken for questioning. The arrest was made based on a request from the Pristina prosecution regarding the events of May 29 last year in front of the Zvecan municipality," Elshani said.

As Kosovo Online learns, the initials of the arrested person are M.D. but Elshani could not confirm the initials of the arrested person to us.
