Suspended sentence of three months in prison for S.R. because of the graffiti "Klokot Serbia" and "Vitina is Serbia"
The Basic Court in Gnjilan sentenced S.R. to a suspended sentence of three months in prison due to spreading "ethnic hatred" in September last year, together with two minors D.R and S.R, by writing graffiti "Vitina is Serbia", "Klokot Serbia" as well as four letters "S" on an Albanian house, concrete pillars and the sidewalk, Ekonomija online reports.
On October 12, 2021, the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Gnjilan filed an indictment against S.R. At the first hearing, he pleaded guilty to the crime he was charged with.
According to the prosecution, the accused and two minors first bought two sprays of black paint, and then wrote graffiti and four letters "S" on the Klokot-Vitina road and on some concrete pillars, while on the walls of the Albanian house they wrote "Klokot Serbia" and "Vitina is Serbia". They wrote "Serbia" on the sidewalk.
By the way, this year alone, more than ten incidents were recorded in the territory of Kosovo in which graffiti "KLA" or offensive messages were written on Serbian houses, on boards with the names of places where Serbs live, even in the immediate vicinity of a children's playground and no one was held responsible for it.
o January 14, in the biggest Serbian village Pasjane in the Kosovo Pomoravlje, graffiti of the KLA was written on a sign marking this inhabited place.
o January 31, at the entrance to Velika Hoca, a flag with the coat of arms and the inscription of the KLA was hung on the fence under the church of St. John the Baptist, on the property with a monument to murdered and kidnapped Serbs.
o March 4, four houses of the Moraca, Grbusic and Dukic families from Suvi Do near Lipljan were covered with graffiti celebrating the KLA
o June 18, the graffiti of the KLA was written on the fence of the plot of the Trajkovic family, in Kisnica near Gracanica.
o August 2, a KLA sign was placed on the road from the Serbian part of Kisnica to the part inhabited by Albanians, in the immediate vicinity of the children's playground.o August 19 in the Suvi Do neighborhood in North Mitrovica, the flags of "KLA" and "Greater Albania" were raised
o August 24, in the village of Batuse near Gracanica, a board with the inscription of this place was crossed out, and the name of the organization "KLA" was written over it
o September 23, KLA graffiti was written on a building in the ethnically mixed neighborhood of Bosnjacka Mahala in North Mitrovica.
o October 18, a graffiti glorifying the KLA appeared on a lamppost, in the village of Susica near Gornja Gusterica.
o November 1, KLA graffiti was written on the family house of Ilija Filipovic in the village of Suvi Do, in the municipality of Lipljan
o November 17, KLA graffiti was written on a building under construction in Bosnjacka Mahala in North Mitrovica.
