Kosovo's Prime Minister and leader of Self-Determination, Albin Kurti, at a pre-election rally in Pec criticized the opposition, accusing them of seeking international support to attack him and his government, with the remark that he "knew he was strong, but did not know he was this strong," reported by Albanian Post.

Kurti said that the opposition, instead of "using" American officials for support against Serbia, are using them to attack him.

"They seek solace with some shallow foreigner, not in the historical depth of our people, where the best solutions for our people are always found," Kurti said at the rally in Pec, attended also by his wife.

He conveyed that those who try to find an American official to insult the Kosovo Prime Minister should never return to power.

"We cannot value or respect them. Instead of using the U.S. against Serbia, they are looking for an official to be against me... I knew I was strong, but I didn't know I was this strong," said Kurti.

Kurti highlighted that February 9th, when elections are held in Kosovo, is a referendum.

"February 9th is a referendum, a referendum for the Republic, not a party election. The answer is yes, in this referendum you have number 118," Kurti declared.

He also spoke about arming Kosovo, noting the purchase of a Turkish Bayraktar drone, the American Javelin system, and plans to buy helicopters.

He emphasized that Kosovo is equipping and modernizing its forces.
