Analysts: The raid on "Rajska Banja" institutional violence by Pristina

The police raid on "Rajska Banja" in Banjska near Zvecan is seen by analysts as a move by Pristina that does not lead to a de-escalation of the situation in northern Kosovo but rather to the creation of greater animosity among citizens in the north toward Kosovo authorities. They emphasize that the property of the Serbs must be protected.

Dragisa Mijacic, the Coordinator of the National Convention on the EU for Chapter 35, stated that the police raid on the hotel and spa complex "Rajska Banja" in Banjska near Zvecan was a controversial move by the Agency for Privatization of Kosovo that would lead to further animosity toward Kosovo authorities among citizens in the north.

"The normalization of life in the northern municipalities is impossible under the circumstances of institutional violence and the selective use of special police forces by the Government of Kosovo", Mijacic stated in a post on the "X" social network.

Lawyer Milan Antonijevic emphasizes that the international community must protect citizens first and then the property of the Serbs in Kosovo.

"Normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo and de-escalation of the conflict, for which Pristina has already been sanctioned by the European Union and the United States, must be demanded. Will Pristina receive new sanctions from the EU and the US?" Antonijevic asked through a post on the "X" network.
