The Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Brnabic, asked the international community to react immediately and bring to justice those responsible for today's attack on Serbian children in Gotovusa.

"Even on the Orthodox Holy Night, the Serbs in Kosovo are not safe. I condemn in the strongest possible terms this vicious crime and request the international community to act immediately and bring the culpable to justice. This is another one in the series of dreadful incidents demonstrating the gravity of conditions in which Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija live every day," Brnabic stated on Twitter.

The Prime Minister of Serbia said that when regularized and systematic violence was continuously underplayed, then extremism quickly spread from the disillusioned leadership into the wider society, and crimes became an ordinary fact of the everyday life for the oppressed.

She tagged Kosovo with the hashtag "the last European ghetto".
