Congresswoman Tenney: The situation in the north of Kosovo is a reason for deep concern

The co-chair of the Serbian caucus in the US Congress, Claudia Tenney, stated that the deterioration of the situation in the north of Kosovo is a reason for deep concern, as well as that the ongoing disputes between the parties must be resolved peacefully.

"Now should be the time for those in the region to stop any unilateral actions that could further fuel tensions and once again confirm their commitment to diplomacy by returning to the negotiating table in good faith," Tenney told the Serbian Radio Chicago.

Tenney repeated that it is time for the EU and other actors to step up their efforts and bring Belgrade and Pristina to the negotiating table.

"In accordance with this, I repeat my call as co-chairman of the Serbian caucus to the Biden administration, the European Union and other regional actors to redouble diplomatic efforts to bring the parties together to peacefully resolve the ongoing dispute, while ensuring the protection of the rights of the minority population," Tenney said.
