Dacic with Peach: Pristina's unilateral moves obstruct the further course of talks

Serbia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, emphasized during a meeting with the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for the Western Balkans, Stuart Peach, and the UK's State Minister, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, that Serbia valued the understanding of its position on Kosovo, as well as an objective assessment of the newly emerging situation.
The head of Serbian diplomacy noted that unilateral moves by Pristina impeded the further course of talks but that Serbia remained steadfast in its policy of maintaining peace and stability in the region despite provocations.
Dacic held discussions with Peach and Ahmad on the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum, covering bilateral relations between Serbia and the United Kingdom, cooperation in the fields of economy and energy, the Kosovo and Metohija issue, the conflict in Ukraine, and other current international matters, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, there was an expressed interest in enhancing political dialogue at the high and highest levels in the upcoming period.
The participants also agreed on the assessment that there were additional opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom.
