Djuric with Doughty: Serbia is committed to enhancing relations and cooperation with the United Kingdom
Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Djuric, met with the UK Minister of State for Europe, North America, and the Overseas Territories, Stephen Doughty, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
According to a statement from the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Djuric and his interlocutor discussed a range of current geopolitical issues, as well as the political and security situation in the region.
Djuric stated that Serbia is committed to enhancing overall relations and cooperation with the United Kingdom, based on the traditionally good relations between the two countries and their peoples.
Djuric also referred to the recent visit of the UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy to Serbia, during which it was agreed to expand existing bilateral political consultations with additional topics that would form a strategic dialogue.
"In this regard, the Serbian foreign minister emphasized that in recent years, economic cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom has been developing dynamically, which provides additional momentum for strengthening the ties between the two countries," the statement emphasized.
