Djuric with Konrad: Kurti's policy has led to flagrant violations of the rights of Serbs in Kosovo

Serbia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Marko Djuric, emphasized in a discussion today with the German Ambassador to Serbia, Anke Konrad, that Belgrade is fully committed to dialogue with Pristina but will continue to insist on the implementation of agreements reached so far.

Djuric pointed out that Albin Kurti's policies have led to flagrant violations of the fundamental human rights of Serbs, as well as their daily intimidation. He stated that the primary goal of such policies is the ethnic cleansing of the Serbian people from Kosovo, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Minister assessed that relations between Serbia and Germany are well-developed in all areas but noted that there are always opportunities to further strengthen cooperation, especially in the field of economy.

He reiterated that full membership in the European Union is a strategic commitment and a priority of Serbia's foreign policy, expressing hope that Germany, together with other member states, will recognize the efforts made on this path so far.

In this regard, Djuric expressed expectations that Cluster 3 would soon be opened, which would provide additional impetus for continuing reforms necessary for further alignment with European standards.
