Djuric: Serbia has 19 derecognitions, it is in vain that the representatives of Kosovo are taking pictures with the ambassadors in the corridors

Serbian Ambassador to the USA Marko Djuric said tonight that Serbian diplomacy in recent years has led to 19 withdrawals of recognition of Kosovo's independence, and that it is futile for representatives of Kosovo to take photos with ambassadors in the corridors, in an attempt to deny withdrawals of recognition.

"We have 19 derecognitions, and if they continue to do that, we will continue to do our job," Djuric said.

As he stated, Pristina's attempts to become a member of certain international organizations were destructive moves and attacks on Washington's principles from September 2020, when Pristina undertook not to lobby in international organizations.

"My impression is that the US sees it as a distraction, something that distracts from the dialogue," Djuric said.

He added that Serbia would continue to indicate that this practice was not constructive.
