Dragovic: I informed Kallas about the problems faced by schools operating under the Serbian system

The Head of the School Administration for Kosovo and Metohija, Blazo Dragovic, stated that during his meeting with the EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, he discussed numerous challenges faced by schools operating under the Serbian education system, including the ban on the delivery of textbooks and teaching materials.

As he said, he spoke with Kallas about the state of education in Kosovo under the Serbian system.

“We presented a series of problems, including the ban on transporting textbooks and materials for schools. She thanked us for the information from the ground, as it gave her insights that she will consider going forward. She said that this information is very important,” Dragovic emphasized.

He added that Kallas had not been familiar with the situation, asked many questions, and showed interest.

“I hope something will be done to protect the remaining people, as well as our children, and that we will remain independent of the authorities in Pristina and continue learning under the system of Serbia’s Ministry of Education,” he stated.
