If Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti wants Americans to continue paying and securing the security of the region with NATO troops, then he must stop unilateral moves that endanger the safety of 572 Americans in Kosovo, Richard Grenell said, a former Balkan Envoy of the former US President Donald Trump.

"If Albin Kurti wants Americans to continue paying and protecting the security of the region with NATO troops, then he must stop unilateral moves that endanger the safety of 572 Americans from Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, Rhode Island (and soon to be Georgia) currently serving in Kosovo. Biden's team and the US Senate can no longer dismiss his improper behavior by ignoring the demands of the international community. He is jeopardizing the lives of Americans with his actions," Grenell emphasized in a post on the "X" social network.

Grenell emphasized that Kurti must stop his belligerence; otherwise, US troops might need to be withdrawn for security reasons.

He also pointed out that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic must not fall for the trap set by Kurti to escalate tensions.

"He also needs to reject Russian and Chinese moves to take advantage of the situation and instead stick with the US and EU. This means that the international community must immediately address Kurti's latest unilateral moves and snub of the US and EU demands. In times like these, we all miss Hashim Thaci," he stated.
