Grenell: Kurti's claims of being close to the U.S. are absolutely false

Richard Grenell, the U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy for special missions, announced that Trump's administration needs trustworthy partners in the Balkans, and pointed out that Albin Kurti's government was not reliable during Trump's first term, nor during Joseph Biden's term.
On the social network "X," Grenell stated that he has many friends in Kosovo and Albania, as well as in Serbia and across the region, and emphasized that the rhetoric Albin Kurti is now using, claiming to be close to the U.S. and better than all previous Kosovar governments, is absolutely false.
"Trump's administration worked and will continue to work towards peace for all in the Balkans, but we need trustworthy partners. Kurti's government was not reliable during Trump's first term or Biden's term. Both Republicans and Democrats have consistently criticized Kurti for taking unilateral actions that destabilize the region. The same has been done by the EU and NATO. The international community is united against Kurti. American companies are expanding their business in Albania and Serbia, but not in Kosovo – because of Kurti. Kurti also opposed every U.S. idea proposed by Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden, and Trump. The rhetoric Kurti is now using, claiming to be close to the U.S. and better than all previous Kosovar governments, is absolutely false. Do not be deceived," Richard Grenell pointed out.
