Haradinaj: It seems that Kurti has a plan to divide Kosovo

The president of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, expressed his suspicion that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has a scenario on how to divide Kosovo, Lajmi reports.

Haradinaj stated that Kurti's failure to gain the support of security allies i.e. America's blessing.

"With unilateral actions, Kurti threatens both the KSF (Kosovo Security Forces) and the jurisdiction of Kosovo. He has damaged the state of Kosovo", Haradinaj commented for RTV Dukagjini.

Haradinaj says that security issues do not resolve themselves and that Kurti and his government had to ask for the US help.

"The action is going in the other direction, towards endangering part of the country. Doubts are now whether Kurti has a plan to divide Kosovo, it looks like a scenario for the division of Kosovo", Haradinaj added.

When asked why he believes that Kurti is aiming at the division of Kosovo, Haradinaj emphasized that "soft power" has been lacking since Kurti came to power.

According to him, Kurti counts on the force of law.

"Once upon a time in a town of Strpce and other places there were barricades, there were protests, incidents, violence. It was a long-term policy of America and the EU to integrate these people. More than 10 years have passed since the process of integration of people from the nort. Making excuses is a kind of betrayal for Kosovo, especially for long-term investments. Every action that took place in the north was a big investment by the Americans, and the result of great dynamics to bring the situation to a normal state in Grachanica and Shtrpce", Haradinaj said.

He stated that since Kurti came to power, that soft power, how to treat Serbs, has been missing.

He also said that Kurti and the Minister of Interior Affairs Xhelal Svecla are immature for situations in the north and are not ready to face such situations, Reporteri reports.

"Kurti doesn't understand, he doesn't know, he doesn't know the importance of the topic, he is immature in these situations. So is Sveca, they are immature," Haradinaj added.

Speaking about the vehicle license plates, he said that only the United States of America can solve that problem, and that instead of Besnik Bislimi going to Brussels, Kurti should tell the EU that he accepts their proposal regarding the license plates.

"Neither Lajcak nor Borrell can solve this problem. The US can", he said.
