Haziri on the CSM draft: Kurti accepted executive powers and second-level governance

Vice President of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lutfi Haziri, emphasized that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, by accepting the draft of the CSM had also accepted executive powers and a second level of governance for municipalities with a Serbian majority, as reported by Ekonomia Online.

According to Haziri, Kurti has managed only to change the name of the CSM.

"Local self-government, which is a milder term than self-government for national minorities. Nothing has been published, and I reserve the right not to speak about something that only three people know. Lajcak, Kurti, and Vucic have a written document," he stated.

Haziri said that each subsequent agreement was worse than the previous one.

"I've read 15 models that international mediators have dealt with. Each case relates to the manner, time, and context. Here, it is a mixture of two or three European models," Haziri added.

As he noted, an agreement on the Serbian Orthodox Church goes hand in hand with the CSM.

According to him, the EU will not wait for Kosovo and Serbia for more than a few months.

Haziri mentioned that Kurti had accepted a draft document that they had called the "moderate European model," which was a combination of several models.
