Haziri: Kurti’s problem with the CSM is the promise given to the citizens regarding it
Vice-President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo Lutfi Haziri said that last year, the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia had no momentum and added that this year, already in January the path for negotiations would be set, the agreement would be based on the Franco-German proposal, Gazeta express reports.
Now the expectations are to create a new dynamic in the dialogue process, to create new momentum for the framework agreement, the basis of which was indicated in the fall of last year, but that the document must go through the negotiation process and some of its provisions are not easy to conclude," Haziri said.
Haziri added that according to the American representatives, the Constitution of Kosovo was not violated by the Franco-German proposal.
"The basis of the document, which is referred to as Annex III of President Ahtisaari's document, and which refers to the spirit of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, is a document that does not violate the unitary character of the state of Kosovo, but the in Kurti appeared opposition Kurti," Haziri said.
Haziri added that Kurti's problem when it came to the CSM was the kind of statements he made about it before.
"Now he does not have a problem with international mediators, nor with the US envoy Gabriel Escobar, nor with other envoys that many countries have delegated, but he has a problem with the citizens of Kosovo, because he made different promises when it comes to the "Community" as he calls it. Haziri said.
Haziri added that, when it came to the CSM, "Kurti the prime minister must surpass the opposition Kurti".
