Ivanic: Resolution on genocide causes additional divisions in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The resolution on genocide is completely wrong because it causes additional divisions in Bosnia and Herzegovina," assessed former member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mladen Ivanic. Ivanic told Kosovo Online that the resolution will not bring anything wise to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"I think it is wrong. I believe that in Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is not wise to do anything contrary to the will of everyone. I don't think it will change anything," he emphasized.

Ivanić said that it is "more a tit for tat" than a rounded consistent policy.

"Now, you will have a situation of complete homogenization of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On one hand in Sarajevo, since the resolution will most likely be adopted, it will be celebrated, and on the other hand in Banja Luka, you will have strong resistance and this will lead to divisions," he warns.

He assessed that the entire event in Srebrenica is being misused, and the victims of it all are the Srebrenica victims.
