Kurti Self-Determination activist from Albania compared the CSM and the Holocaust: The same racist mentality

Boiken Abazi, an activist of the Self-Determination movement in Albania, today compared the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities to the Holocaust, pointing out that "it is the same racist mentality".

Abazi said on Facebook on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day that "the same way of thinking that caused the Holocaust is behind the mono-ethnic community."

"Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember with respect and sadness the six million Jews who were killed by the Nazis, who essentially pushed colonialist racial supremacism to the extreme limits of the crime of industrialized genocide. Today we remember that the same spirit of racial supremacism and colonial fascism launches Putin's genocidal war in Ukraine. Today we remember that the same racist approach with a colonial way of thinking and projects is embodied in the project of a mono-ethnic "Community" designed by the fascist regime in Belgrade, which after the genocidal wars of the 1990s still has the goal of colonial expansion in the Balkans. We honor the victims of the Holocaust not only by remembering them but also by resisting fascism and racism wherever they appear," Abazi said.
