The EU Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, will not meet with representatives of the Serb List during his visit to Kosovo due to a lack of time, the Cabinet of the EU Special Representative emphasized for Kosovo Online.

As they emphasize from the Cabinet of the EU Special Representative for the Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and other regional issues in the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajcak, a meeting with the leaders of the Serb List during this visit to Kosovo was not possible due to the length of the visit.

It is added that Lajcak planned to meet with representatives of the Serb List during the next visit, which would be of a longer duration.

"Considering the length of the visit and the lack of time, unfortunately, a meeting with representatives of the Serb List was not possible this time, and there was no request for a meeting from our side. The EU Special Representative for the Dialogue plans to have meetings with the representatives of the Serb List during the next visit, which will be of a longer duration", as stated in the response from Lajcak's Cabinet.

The Pristina media outlet "Reporteri" reported yesterday that Lajcak, during his visit to Kosovo, would meet with representatives of the Serb List and ask for the return of the Serbs to Kosovo institutions and their participation in elections in four northern municipalities, which had not been announced yet.

As Kosovo Online learns, after the meeting with representatives of opposition parties, Lajcak flew to Brussels from Pristina's "Adem Jashari" airport.
