Lawyer Miljkovic: I expect the court to accept the proposal to replace detention for Milenkovic with house arrest, with the provision of bail

Milun Milenkovic's lawyer, Predrag Miljkovic, stated that Milun Milenkovic was ready to face all charges and would not flee, which was why today he had requested that the detention measure be replaced with a combination of bail and house arrest.

"Today, we took the opportunity to offer bail, a combination of two measures - house arrest and bail in the amount of 30,000 euros. I believe that this will convince the Court and the Prosecutor's Office that Milun Milenkovic will not flee and will be present throughout the entire process. I believe he is also ready to face all charges. We are waiting for the court's decision; the amount is not negligible. Milun is a person of average financial means, and the fact that he would be placed under house arrest, along with a bail measure, would convince me that he will be in Mitrovica and will appear at every hearing", Miljkovic said.

As he stated, he believes that a positive decision will be made, and the Court will consider it properly.

"As for the speed of the Court's decision, I cannot comment on that", Miljkovic added.
