A man tried to cross the bridge over the Ibar in a car, but the Carabinieri sent him back to South Mitrovica

An unidentified man drove onto the bridge over the Ibar from the direction of South Mitrovica today, but he was unable to cross to the other side as Italian Carabinieri sent him back, reports Nacionale.

In the video of the incident, published by the portal 'Arbresh info', a 'Mercedes' car with German license plates can be seen approaching the vehicles of the Italian Carabinieri but then comes to a stop. One member of the Carabinieri is seen signaling the driver to return from where he came and urgently leave the bridge heading back towards South Mitrovica.

The video then shows two Kosovo police officers walking across the bridge towards the car, according to the description.

“One of the officers speaks with the driver for a few seconds and signals him to move the car away from the bridge and return to South Mitrovica,” the portal reported.
