Murphy with Vucevic: Implementing the Brussels Agreement as a path to compromise

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Milos Vucevic, met today with the Director of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Damian Murphy, who stated that America supports dialogue and the implementation of agreements made under the Brussels Agreement, which represents the right path toward achieving a compromise solution.
Murphy conveyed that the United States supports Serbia on issues of security and regional stability, initiatives that contribute to peace and stability in the region, as well as Serbia's European integration process.
Praising the organization of the Expo 2027 exhibition as a major success, Murphy highlighted the importance of economic cooperation and emphasized the value of programs and initiatives aimed at attracting American investments to Serbia, including support for small and medium-sized enterprises and infrastructure development, according to a statement by the Government of Serbia.
Prime Minister Vucevic emphasized that Serbia is strategically committed to strengthening cooperation with the United States in all areas, for the mutual benefit of the citizens of both countries.
He noted that, over the past 12 years, Serbia has been working intensively to strengthen relations with the United States, especially in the context of regional stability, combating terrorism, and economic development, and will continue to do so in the future.
Vucevic stated that maintaining stability in the region and enhancing regional cooperation are of key interest to Serbia.
He expressed satisfaction with the signing of a cooperation agreement with the U.S. in the energy sector, considering that the country’s energy stability and the implementation of the Green Agenda are important priorities for Serbia.
He also noted Serbia's interest in attracting American investments and invited companies from the United States to participate in the specialized Expo 2027 exhibition, which represents an exceptional opportunity to promote Serbia and its market.
