Musliu: Kurti’s behavior arrogant and childish; Kosovo cannot progress without the USA and the EU

The Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ganimete Musliu said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti behaved arrogantly and childishly and added that Kosovo could not progress without the United States and the European Union, Albanian news portal Ekonomia online reported.

Musliu indicated that one had to be careful when talking about Kosovo security.

"Regarding the security situation in northern Kosovo, we must be careful in our statements. I do not want to give hypothetical answers regarding the security of my country. Albin Kurti should put aside his populist vocabulary and sick ego and behave like the state leader. The behavior of the Government and Albin Kurti with ministers and MPs is arrogant and childish. We must consider the advice of our US friends because we cannot progress without the US and the EU", Musliu said.

She added that any decision opposed to the US was harmful to Kosovo and Kurti himself.

"We, as the opposition, offered support to Albin Kurti, but they have never accepted it. Even when you would help them, they would refuse. We never went against our country’s sovereignty. DPK proved it had expanded sovereignty while it was in the government. Now it is up to the current government to preserve that sovereignty", Musliu stated.
