Due to the brutal use of force by Albin Kurti and his forces against the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Serbia will remain in the highest state of combat readiness until further notice, according to a statement from the Media Cooperation Service of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, following today's National Security Council meeting.

The statement notes that during the meeting of the National Security Council, all necessary security activities were agreed upon in order to strengthen Serbia's defense capabilities.

It is emphasized that KFOR/NATO has not fulfilled its duties in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military-Technical Agreement from Kumanovo.

"The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilovic, is authorized to maintain direct contact with the KFOR Commander in an attempt to ensure that KFOR/NATO fulfills its function and mandate in accordance with relevant UN documents and protects Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija," the statement highlights.

It is concluded that Serbia will remain steadfast and unwavering in the protection of its people.
