Osmani: The common historical path of Kosovo and Albania, together even to the EU

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, stated that Kosovo and Albania jointly made a historic path and that they would have a common path to the European family.

Osmani stated on her Facebook page that the Law Proclaiming the Independence of Albania and Flag Day are among the most significant events in the history of the Albanian nation.

The President of Kosovo said that she was honored to be in Valona on that day with the state and institutional leaders of Kosovo and Albania, to celebrate that "holy day for us".

"From Gjergj Kastrioti - Skenderbeut, Ismail Qemal, Hasan Prishtina and Isa Boletini, to the historical president Ibrahim Rugova and the legendary commander of the KLA, Adem Jashari - we had a dream and an ideal. Today, Kosovo and Albania together in Vlora remember the 110th anniversary of the women and men who made the project of our independent states possible. As we have made a historic path together, together we will have a path to the European family. Happy Albanian Flag Day. Long live Kosovo and long live Albania!", Osmani said.
