Lawyer Dastid Pallaska emphasized that the Self-Determination Movement, as a typical populist party, is waging a war against democracy and has a problem with the laws and the Constitution of Kosovo, Gazeta Express reports.

“The most important and most unjust political war happening is the war of the ruling party, as a typical populist party, to dismantle every system. It is a war against democracy in the country, against parliamentary democracy, against a constitutional republic, with a separation of powers,” he said.

As he added, he is surprised when the heads of Kosovo’s independent institutions, whether in the prosecution or the judiciary, take that war of Self-Determination personally.

“Self-Determination doesn’t have a problem with any particular prosecutor or judge. Self-Determination has a problem with the law and the Constitution. They are constrained by the law and the Constitution because these are the limits on the absolute power that Self-Determination wants to establish in this country,” Pallaska stressed.
