Petkovic: Discussing continuation of Dialogue and necessary normalization of relations with Sorensen

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, met today in Vienna with the EU Special Envoy for the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue, Peter Sorensen, with whom he discussed the continuation of the dialogue and the necessary normalization of relations.

"I have just concluded a working meeting in Vienna with the Special Envoy for the Belgrade–Pristina Dialogue, Peter Sorensen, with whom I discussed the continuation of the technical-level dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as the urgent need for normalization of relations and de-escalation on the ground," Petkovic wrote on the social network X.

He emphasized his concern over the increasingly difficult situation for Serbs in Kosovo.

"I conveyed to him serious concerns about the increasingly difficult situation of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija due to numerous escalatory moves by Pristina," Petkovic stressed.
