Petar Petkovic, a Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, said that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti personally compiled a list for the arrest of the family of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Serbs, while Vucic had never touched anyone's family.

"The arrest list of the most prominent Serbs and of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's immediate family members, which was published by a high-ranking official of Self-Determination Movement, Armend Muja was personally drawn up by Albin Kurti. Everyone in Pristina and the international community knows this well, as well as Vucic. When someone draws up a list to arrest Serbs just because they have a Serbian first and last name, and when the brother and son of President Vucic are on that list, it's clear who we're dealing with, and Vucic himself knows that very well," Petkovic said.

He pointed out that the president of Serbia did not touch anyone's family and that he would know how to protect Serbs from Kosovo.

"Unlike Kurti, who would like to arrest the entire Vucic family, our president does not want to deal with Albin Kurti's family or touch anyone's family because the family is sacred, it is not to be harmed, and Albin Kurti must learn that. But that's why, on the other hand, Vucic will know how to protect the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija," Petkovic said.

He emphasized that with the published list, Kurti threatened the safety of the Vucic family members.

"The list is drawing a target on the heads of both Andrej and Danilo Vucic. It is a direct threat to the safety of President Vucic's family members. Why are they doing this in Pristina and what is behind it? The list is the best indicator of how justified all the fears of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are, and their demands when they ask for the withdrawal of all arrest lists, because they do exist. Contrary to what we could read in the inept statement of Xhelal Svecla that such lists do not exist. So what is this that appeared yesterday, on which basis did they arrest Miljan Adzic? On the basis of those lists," Petkovic stated.

He added that the Serbs at the barricades were defending their lives and that their demands were justified.

"I will show you the invitation to the hearing sent to Goran Rakic in June of this year, only because he was also on that list where many other Serbs were, only because they were at the barricades. So those lists exist, and that is why the Serbs are at the barricades – they are defending their lives. Of course, in addition to that demand, other demands refer to the release of the arrested, but also that the Kosovo Police with long guns and armored vehicles withdraw from the north of Kosovo, and that KFOR guarantees that they will not return to the north because they have nothing to look for there," Petkovic concluded.
