The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, reacted this evening to the statement of Kosovo's Interior Minister Xhelala Svecla, noting that Svecla is bragging about elections marked by containers, KLA terrorists and long guns, with a turnout of only 3.5 percent.

"You brag about elections marked by containers, KLA terrorists and long guns at election stations with a turnout of 3.5%. And speaking of containers, I suggest you use them for the offices of the occupying Gauleiters. Stop threatening, because every occupation has an end!", Petkovic said on Twitter.

Svecla said tonight that the new mayors, from the moment the final election results are announced, are legitimate and will go to their workplace, but also that Kosovo will respond to "all threats coming from Serbia".

The turnout in the elections in four municipalities in the north of Kosovo, on Sunday, was 3.5 percent, and only 13 Serbs participated in them, which is 0.029 percent of the Serbian population.
