The Serb List: The attack on the property of our party’s MP is a consequence of the regime's rhetoric in Pristina

The Serb List strongly condemned the attack with an explosive device on the property of that party's MP in Ranilug, Zoran Maksimovic, and said that it was necessary to ascertain the facts and circumstances of the attack.

As stated in the announcement of the Serb List, it was unacceptable to attack citizens, especially representatives of the Serbs in Kosovo, without any reason.

"We demand that those responsible for this heinous act that disturbed all Serbs, especially in Kosovo Morava Valley, be found and brought to justice as soon as possible. It is necessary to ascertain all the facts and circumstances of this attack as soon as possible because it is unacceptable to attack citizens without any reason, especially representatives of the Serbs," the announcement states.

It is emphasized that the Serb List does not want to prejudge the course of the investigation but indicates that the series of attacks on the Serbs in the south of Kosovo is a consequence of the rhetoric of the regime in Pristina and the impunity for previously committed crimes.

"We share the opinion of the citizens that the insecurity of the Serbs is a consequence of the passivity of the competent security institutions, both local and international, which are responsible for the safety of all citizens, including the Serbs in these areas," the Serb List said.
