Serb List: Decision on expropriation in Leposavic and Zubin Potok is a classic land grab of Serbian Land

Serb List, a major political party representing Serbs in Kosovo, has strongly condemned the recent decision by Albin Kurti’s regime regarding the expropriation of land in the municipalities of Leposavic and Zubin Potok. They describe it as a classic land grab of Serbian land, characterizing it as part of systematic terrorization of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija. The party claims this action reveals a clear intent to ethnically cleanse the area of Serbs through institutional violence and repression.

"The international community must clearly and unequivocally condemn this decision, which amounts to land theft from Serbian homeowners, and demand a return to the previous state as well as the removal of illegal bases with monoethnic paramilitary units. This anti-Serbian decision and the plan to expel Serbs must be stopped," the statement emphasizes.

Serb List highlights that, in the 21st century, while the issue of private property is protected and given special treatment, the right to freely enjoy property does not exist for Serbs in Kosovo.

"With simultaneous anti-Serbian decisions, Kurti makes life harder for our people every day. It is the responsibility of international representatives to condemn and prevent such actions, or they will be equally responsible as accomplices in Kurti's misdeeds through their inaction," concludes the statement from Serb List.
