The president of the Alliance of Kosovo Businesses, Agim Shahini, stated that Kosovo, which assumed the chairmanship of CEFTA on January 1, must take this role seriously.
Shahini also expressed confidence that Kosovo will be successful in this position. In his view, Kosovo's current leadership of CEFTA is a significant advantage.
“Kosovo needs to position itself in this situation as a serious state. It must remove all obstacles that exist among CEFTA members, focus on improving the import and export of goods across all CEFTA member states, and maintain good relations with all members of CEFTA,” Shahini said to Kosovo Online.
Kosovo assumed the one-year chairmanship of the CEFTA agreement on January 1. During the previous year, Serbia held the chairmanship.
