Simonovic Bratic in the Council of Europe: Human rights in Kosovo are dead

Member of the National Assembly of Serbia, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, addressing the regular winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, said that human rights on the territory of Kosovo were dead, Novosti writes.

Simonovic Bratic addressed the few gathered parliamentarians, who are supposed to deal with the December elections in Serbia.

"Tomorrow, you will host the so-called president of the assembly of the so-called Kosovo. Will you ask him about the elections in Kosovo and Metohija?! Will you ask him about the rights of the Serbs?! If there is something in Europe where human rights are dead and buried, it is the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. And today, you want to talk about elections in Serbia and alleged irregularities. Where is the report on the elections in Serbia? There isn't one," she said.

Simonovic stated that some observers had begun to complain when they realized that their associates in the opposition in Serbia had not won the elections.

"I must admit that I am very touched by so much attention, although you have many problems in your countries. Also, no one had anything to say about the elections held in Kosovo and Metohija in containers, even though all Serbs had to migrate to vote. Just a few hours after realizing that their associates would do nothing in the elections in Serbia, certain observers started making noise. Even though they had previously signed the records," Simonovic said.

She added that the same people who talked about irregularities in Serbia were the main advocates of Kosovo's independence.
