EU Spokesperson Peter Stano stated that the continuation of high-level dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina was possible at any time "when there was a willingness" for it and added that the EU did not speculate about any upcoming meetings.

He emphasized that if a high-level meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic occurred, it would be announced several days in advance.

According to him, work on the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina continues with a focus on implementing what was agreed upon in Brussels and Ohrid last year. He assessed that the agreement between the two sides on the license plates without stickers regime was tangible proof that progress was possible if there was enough "good will."

"We hope that it will continue even after the formation of the new government in Serbia. We will continue to work and engage with partners to help them because this is not a task for us; it is their task to implement everything that has been agreed. It was a binding agreement, and EU member states and EU institutions expect both sides to continue working on it as soon as possible. There is no time to waste," Stano emphasized.

Regarding the measures that the EU imposed on Pristina, Stano said that the EU was monitoring the situation and that, when enough positive steps were taken, they would reconsider the measures and possibly lift them.
