Varhelyi: The draft of the Management Team is the starting point for further negotiations on the CSM

European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi said today at the session of the European Parliament that the draft Statute of the Community of Serbian Municipalities presented by the Management Team in Brussels is the starting point for further negotiations on the formation of that body in Kosovo, reports Radio Free Europe.

He pointed out that his opinion regarding that document coincides with the opinion of the EU's special envoy for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.

"It is crucial that Kosovo engages constructively and, as pointed out by the EU's special representative for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak, the draft of the Management Team is the starting point for further discussions about the Community," said Varhelyi.
