Vucic: Arrests of Serbs south of the Ibar have begun; difficult situation
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated that the Kosovo Police Special Forces have started arresting Serbs south of the Ibar River, with the goal of expelling Serbs from the entirety of Kosovo.
"If you analyze these things on the surface, it's not good; the situation is more serious. Kurti has changed his decision, allowing the entry of goods with foreign license plates. Has anyone thought about what kind of audacity that represents? This decision means that you cannot import bread into Raska, oxygen into hospitals, or even water. But you are welcome if you need to earn money for foreign companies. How can they be so shameless as to praise such a decision?" Vucic asked.
During his appearance in Dnevnik RTS, he emphasized that Serbia is in a difficult situation.
"We are alone in this, we must understand our own strengths. Someone must perform difficult tasks in the toughest conditions on behalf of the citizens. I ask people to understand that the country is in a difficult situation. We are under immense pressure. Regarding Kosovo and Metohija, we only negotiate with the collective West. Then you wonder how to talk to someone with whom there is no conversation. Look at Eskobar's statements, and you will understand everything and see the terrible situation in which Serbia finds itself," Vucic conveyed.
He added that he knows that Serbs in Kosovo have reached their boiling point.
"In the West, they think it's possible for the terror against Serbs to continue," Vucic said.
When asked about where the arrests in Kosovo will end, he stated that it is difficult to explain at this time.
