Vucic with Doughty: Serbs in Kosovo live in impossible conditions
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met with the UK Minister of State for Europe, North America, and the Overseas Territories, Stephen Doughty, and informed him about the impossible conditions in which Serbs in Kosovo are living.
"We discussed the current situation in Kosovo and Metohija, during which I provided the minister with a detailed account of the almost impossible conditions Serbs are facing. I also called on the United Kingdom to show more understanding of this issue by supporting the Dialogue and condemning Pristina’s unilateral actions," Vucic wrote on Instagram.
He added that the talks had also covered various aspects of cooperation, including economy, trade, cybersecurity, and migration.
"I emphasized that the economy is the best way to strengthen ties between our two countries and informed my counterpart about Serbia’s progress in economic growth and its favorable business environment, which is crucial for attracting foreign investments. We also touched upon security challenges in a broader regional context, discussed Serbia’s European path, and I extended an invitation to Prime Minister Starmer to visit Serbia so we can continue discussions on further strengthening the traditionally good relations between our two countries," Vucic further stated.
