Vucic: Fabrications about Rakic, who is with his people all the time; Lajcak is running out of solutions

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, asked, as he said, the "supposedly patriotic media" and others who had transmitted misinformation about the President of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, why they needed to destroy the Serb List now, and that, as he said, in difficult times and they were going against of their people in Kosovo.

Vucic, during a tour of the reconstructed Raska-Novi Pazar road, in response to a journalist's question, commented that a "photo" of the President of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, spending time on a yacht in Budva, had appeared on social networks, but it actually had turned out to be a photomontage, and that the photo showed Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on his yacht in Italy.

"For people who don't know, it's not just about social networks, yesterday the Albanian media also reported that some Serbs had posted a fake photomontage and had shown Bezos in an almost explicit act of love, and said it was Goran Rakic. And the Ambassadors in Pristina started to react, they even called me and talked about the scandal. We just have to wonder if they are all normal together," Vucic said, adding that supposedly pro-Russian channels also took it over.

He points out that Rakic was not at sea for two years and explains that his mother was immobile and that he did not leave her, and that she passed away 20 days ago.

"Rakic was with his people all the time and when they wanted to beat him, he was not like Jovic and some other Serbs who never did anything for the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija," he said.

The President adds that those channels pretending to be patriotic channels couldn't wait to broadcast what Kurti's media put out.

That's how Rakic became Jeff Bezos, he says and adds that there are also comments about why Rakic is enjoying himself while the Serbs are in prison.

"There's no end to those lies, but when someone repeats a lie 500 times, you can't deny it that many times. What do you have, how can you defend yourself, and what will Rakic explain now? The question arises, why the patriots needed to destroy the Serb List, on the day when the law on expropriation was passed, the license of Telekom Srbije was taken away, the decision to evict the building in North Mitrovica," the President said.

Vucic also reminded that three months had passed since Serbian goods could not enter Kosovo.

"Our hospitals don't have medicines. How is it possible that you couldn't wait to report on that, and if that's the case, what made you do that, to go against your country, against your people," Vucic asked.

When asked whether he had heard new ideas yesterday from EU Special Envoy, Miroslav Lajcak, on the issue of reviving the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Vucic said that there were many ideas, but that solutions were running out.

"We could have sat for 10 hours and talked, but I'm afraid we wouldn't have found a solution. That's how it is when you talk to people who don't want a solution, who only want to harm the Serbs in Kosovo. His (Kurti's) desire is to expel the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the wish of everyone from the former Yugoslavia," Vucic said.

He states that if Kurti had his own Serb henchmen, he said that he had one who ran a drug cartel, so he stood by Kurti for a small amount of money, and that there were others that Kurti picked up for small money.

"And then it is only important that you speak against Serbia, the Serbs. I mentioned only four problems, but we are thousands of miles away from the formation of the CSM, which would solve many problems. It does not occur to them to do that," Vucic concluded.
