Vucic with Kos: Serbia wants to use new momentum in the EU enlargement process

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with the new European Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy, Marta Kos, to convey Serbia’s intention to leverage the new momentum in the EU enlargement process.

“A good and cordial first discussion with Mrs. Kos, whom I congratulated on her appointment as the new Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy. We discussed accelerating Serbia’s European path, the implementation of the European Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, and I briefed Commissioner Kos on the situation in Serbia, our reform activities, and achievements, especially in the field of the economy,” Vucic wrote on Instagram.

He emphasized that Serbia aims to make the best use of the new momentum in the enlargement process and is working intensively on reforms necessary for faster European integration.
