Vucic with Sentop: Turkey is an important partner in preserving peace in the Western Balkans

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, met with the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Mustafa Sentop, and on that occasion pointed out that Serbia saw Turkey as an important partner in preserving peace and stability in the Western Balkans.

Vucic stated on his Instagram account "buducnostsrbijeav" that the dynamics of Serbian-Turkish bilateral and economic relations, energy security, investments, as well as the situation in the region had been discussed at the meeting.

"It is a great pleasure to meet again with dear guest Mustafa Sentop, the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. I also used this opportunity to send greetings to my friend Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey. We discussed the dynamics of Serbian-Turkish bilateral and economic relations, energy security, investments, as well as the situation in the region. I emphasized that Serbia saw Turkey as an important partner in preserving peace and stability in the Western Balkans, but also in the implementation of capital projects in the field of infrastructure and energy, which contributed to the greater security for all the citizens, not only of Serbia but also of the countries of the region ", Vucic stated.
