The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, thanked all the countries that do not recognize Kosovo and that have announced that they will not support Pristina's candidacy for membership in the European Union.

"Thank you to Spain, Cyprus, other non-recognizers of Kosovo. But let me not talk about how it will be," Vucic said for TV Pink.

He added that pressures were expected when it came to Kosovo's candidacy.

"The pressure is also that Albin Kurti was with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Germany, they discussed the Partnership for Peace, as well as the procedure for membership in the Council of Europe and the EU.We didn't even expect less pressure," said Vucic.

When asked if he expected the opposition parties in Serbia to defend the Serb List, he says that he did not expect that, but he also noticed that citizens are not interested in it, because they see that the opposition does not think much about Serbia.

Vucic added that there were also rational views in the opposition, even on the left, because not everyone was the same, but that people were certainly not overly interested in that.

It is important, as Vucic said, that the people were united and  that they understood everything.

"It's like when an abusive father comes home, and since he wasn't allowed to say anything to the boss, he beats the children and then the wife to prove how big and strong he is. Well, since they are not allowed to say anything to the Germans, the Americans, then they will torture our people, by criminalizing the Serb list, all because of petty political charms," Vucic said.
