Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated today that there will be no conflict in Kosovo, despite what he claims are daily provocations by Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

Vucic made this comment to reporters in response to a statement by Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, who expressed concern that, in addition to the conflicts in the Middle East, the Kosovo crisis could escalate, calling it a potentially explosive front.

"Crosetto is a smart man, but I don't see any conflicts, even though Albin Kurti provokes them every day. We must continue to strengthen, push things forward, protect our people, and fight for their interests, for our country in Kosovo and Metohija, and for our people everywhere," Vucic said.

He emphasized that he had been right in his predictions about the Middle East and Ukraine.

However, when it comes to Serbia, Vucic stated that it is not a time for wars.

"I do not foresee wars for Serbia. It is time for us to live in peace and to make progress. War is the last thing that should happen to us, and I hope it never will," Vucic said.

He also added that Serbia and Italy have excellent cooperation, and that Italy will be the partner country of the Tourism Fair, noting that he expects a visit from Giorgia Meloni.
