Residents of Strpce satisfied with the election results: We expected this victory

Residents of Strpce said for Kosovo Online that they were satisfied with the election results and that they had expected the victory of the "Aleksandar Vucic – Serbia Must Not Stop" list.

According to the results announced so far, the "Aleksandar Vucic – Serbia Must Not Stop" list convincingly won the majority of votes and declared victory. Residents of the municipality of Strpce, with whom we spoke, say they expected such election results.

One of the interlocutors told us that it had been expected, and commenting on the higher voter turnout, he said that people had understood that it should be this way.

"We expected this victory even before. We knew it would be like this," he emphasized.

Another resident says that it is good that the election results turned out this way.

"I think it is good, that is how I see it. I am from Kosovo, currently not living in Kosovo, but I think it is good. The people are interested in living better and being a united Serbian nation," he says.

One of the residents says that the election results actually reflect the will of the people.

"That is presumably an expression of the will of the people; we cannot judge it one way or another. The people decided that way, and that is how they voted."

Another citizen emphasizes that these election results mean a lot for Serbs in Kosovo.

"Well, it truly means a lot, and it is better for Serbia."

Others are of the opinion that things will remain the same as before.

"Well, I think it will be the same as it was because the same party won," they concluded.
