Abbot of the monastery Prohor Pcinjski: Serbs in Kosovo are an example to all of us, may God give them peace and joy for Christmas

Archimandrite Metodije (Markovic), abbot of the Prohor Pcinjski monastery - one of the oldest Serbian holy places, in his Christmas message pointed out that the Orthodox Serbs living in Kosovo are an example to everyone of how they should behave and how to remain true Orthodox Christians in the most difficult life circumstances.
"God loved the world so much that he gave his son so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life. With his birth, the Lord united what had been separated until then, God and man, heaven and earth. Our Orthodox Serbs who live in Kosovo and Metohija are an example to all of us of how we should behave and how to remain true Orthodox Christians in the most difficult life circumstances," Abbot Metodije told for Kosovo Online on the occasion of Christmas.
He wished the Serbs in Kosovo that God would give them peace and joy for this holiday as well.
"May the Lord, again and again, let the peace and joy of this holiday fill the homes and souls of our brothers and sisters who live in Kosovo and Metohija, and that they too could join the choirs of angels in the glorification of the Christmas hymn: Glory to God on high and on earth, peace among people, good will!, pointed out Archimandrite Metodije.
