Kurti's government forbids the entry of Serbian goods into Kosovo

The Government of Kosovo decided to ban the entry of Serbian goods into Kosovo, due to the arrest of three Kosovo police officers by the Serbian police, Koha reports.

The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, today dismissed the claims of Pristina officials that these police officers were "kidnapped" and stated that "these Albanian terrorists were arrested in full military gear deep in the territory of central Serbia".

He pointed out that the members of the "Serbian police did not set foot on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija and did not violate either Resolution 1244 of the United Nations Security Council or the Military-Technical Agreement, because they did not cross the administrative line".

"Those who violated these international agreements are precisely these Albanian terrorists, members of the Kosovo Police," Petkovic said.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that this arrest was "revenge for yesterday's arrest of Milun Milenkovic Lune and requested that the Kosovo policemen be released."

The Kosovo Police and the Minister of Interior Xhelal Svecla also reacted and asked international bodies for the immediate release of the police officers.
