The Serbs from Innsbruck helped 23 families in Kosovo in a humanitarian action

The humanitarian action of the organization Serbian Orthodox Youth Innsbruck (SPOJI) to help families in Kosovo, in which, thanks to numerous donors, almost 50,000 euros was collected, has come to an end.

As part of the 21st humanitarian action to help socially disadvantaged multi-member families in Kosovo, SPOJI collected 47,335 euros within just a few days, at the end of September 2021, with the help of more than 2,000 donors around the world.

Twenty-three families received help, and three projects of the National Kitchens and the Gracanica Monastery were supported, according to the SPOJI organization, which published a complete report on that humanitarian action on its website.

At the end of the successful action, the families were visited by long-term partners of SPOJI in Kosovo, members of the charity organization "Mother of the Nine Jugovitch" of the Eparchy of Raska and Prizren.

Among others, the Savic family from Izvor received help, as they needed material to insulate their house.

"We have provided them with funds in the total value of 1,400 euros in the hope that we will make their current life situation easier and give them hope for the time that is yet to come," according to the organization SPOJI.

The Sekulic family from Gracanica also needed insulation material in order to finish their house, and thanks to their help they succeeded in their intention.

The Masic family from Berkovo has problems with their water supply, because their Albanian neighbors regularly cut off their water, so people of the good will provided them with the digging of a well, as well as material for connecting the water, cleaning the well, and a freezer, in order to ensure their basic human rights.

The Zivic family from Gracanica was provided with help to complete the construction of the house, the Jerinic families from Gerncar, Ristic from Gornje Kusce, Stojanovic from Bostane, and Stojkovic from Zebince received material for insulation, while the Stojanovic family from Prekovce received the necessary building materials for the roof of the house, and the Petkovic family from of that place PVC joinery for the house.

The Bojic family from Mogila was provided with materials for building a house, as well as a freezer, washing machine, and refrigerator, and the Stevanovic family from Kosovska Kamenica received construction materials for a new house because the old one was in extremely bad condition.
In the campaign, the Mihajlovic family from Gracanica was provided with sand for drainage and building a septic tank, material for connecting water, sewage, and drainage around the house, as well as room doors, and the Jovanovic family from Batuse with material for insulating the house.

The Gracanica Monastery was provided with refrigerated display cases for the monastery store so that they could more easily market their products in the monastery store.
