Ransacked apartments of KLA crime judges; stolen computers with sensitive data

The French weekly newspaper today published the news about the targeted robbery of the apartment of the high judge for KLA crimes, at the beginning of January in Paris, humanitarian and director of the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the region, Arnaud Gouillon, reported on Twitter.

Gouillon stated on Twitter that the newspaper had stated that professionals had entered the apartment and that they had only taken out a laptop that contained very sensitive data about ongoing court proceedings.

"Jewelry and other items are intact. A similar robbery recently took place in Brussels, where a computer was stolen from a judge of the same special court for KLA crimes, but for now, these two cases are not connected," Gouillon added.

As he stated, the French newspaper remainded that during the war in Kosovo, around 13,000 people had died and that the former head of the Albanian paramilitary formation KLA, Hashim Thaci, was currently being charged with murder and torture.
