The church office of St. Nicholas in Strpce burgled and robbed
Unknown perpetrators burgled and robbed the room of the church office of St. Nicholas in Strpce last night, Kosovo Online learns.
This morning at 9:45 a.m., the first to notice the burglary was Ljubica Klisaric, who immediately informed the priest, Sinisa Milenkovic, who then reported the case to the police.
The window of the church office was broken, and the thieves entered. Money in the amount of 100,000 dinars and 200 euros, which was collected at the Easter liturgy in the church in Donja Bitinja, was taken from the closet of priest Bosko Klisaric.
The thieves also tried to break into the main church safe located in the same room, but they failed.
The church is covered by video surveillance, so Priest Milenkovic confirmed that by watching the videos, they saw that the burglary was carried out by three people.
Immediately after receiving the report, the patrol of the police station in Strpce went to the scene, followed by the regional forensics unit from Urocevac, which is conducting an investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
