An explosive device was thrown at the family house of a Serb List member in Ranilug
An explosive device was thrown at the family home of a member of the Serb List and the director of the Gymnasium in Kosovska Kamenica, Milan Ristic, shortly after midnight last night, as Tanja Aksic, the President of the Provisional Municipal Authority of Kosovska Kamenica, confirmed to Kosovo Online.
According to Aksic, members of the Ristic family were not injured, but there was material damage.
"Shrapnel destroyed the car and part of the house. Within two months, this is the sixth bomb thrown in the municipality of Kosovska Kamenica, in the village of Ranilug," Aksic said.
Aksic believes that the clear aim of such actions is to drive Serbs away from their ancestral homes.
"We are all disturbed, we are afraid, and we are just waiting to see who is next. This entire situation seems to be spreading, intimidating the Serbian people, causing them to leave. Most likely because we have decided to stay and endure here, to be persistent, because we were born here, and the graves of our great-grandfathers are here. But it is evident that global politics and Kurti's politics want to drive us away from our ancestral homes," Aksic said.
She emphasizes that Ristic immediately informed the police, who compiled a report.
"As was the case on the previous five occasions, we are waiting, but it is evident that the police does not want to solve the cases, as this is not the first instance," Aksic recalls.
